(2222/2221/12/1, piano, strings)

Commissioned by Tampere Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.

Fp: Tampere Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, conductor Rolf Gupta, Tampere Biennale April 7th 2006

The moods vary from static and chamber music-like to the wild rampaging of the full orchestra and the playfulness of a polymetric canon. Kha is Sanskrit and means a space containing the four elements - earth, water, fire and air.
