Knoknok was composed for the Pirkanmaa music institute´s anniversary and was composed with the help of National Board of Education Finland.

It was first performed by Riikka Alakärppä and me, the time I was taking violin lessons from Riikka. In this piece two chicken are pecking at same grain and the pupils are encouraged to imagine more happenings and characters with the music and the idea.
